The Jaguar SS100, produced from 1936 to 1940, was a two-seat sports car by SS Cars Ltd, which later became Jaguar Cars. It featured an elegant design, a long hood, and flowing lines. The "SS" in its name stood for "Standard Swallow," referring to the previous company name. The SS100 was powered by a six-cylinder engine, initially with a 2.5-liter capacity, later increased to 3.5 liters. It had impressive performance for its time, capable of reaching speeds above 100 mph (160 km/h). The SS100 is considered a classic and highly collectible car today.
